This year, our favorite movie franchises and sequels – Transformers, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Fast and the Furious, and Star Wars: Episode VIII – are returning to the big screen! Six years after On Stranger Tides (2011) was released, our eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) sets sail in quest for Trident of Poseidon. We’ll be seeing more superhero films like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Power Rangers, and Justice League.

Directed by Michael Bay, Transformers: The Last Knight is the fifth installment in the Transformers franchise. A sequel to Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), Mark Wahlberg (Cade Yeager) and Stanley Tucci (Joshua Joyce) reprise their roles from the said film. In a Rolling Stone article, Bay said that doing a movie is fun but this will be his last Transformers movie. “Transformers, I still have a great time,” he said. But he has “to pass the reins to someone else.”
2. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales | RELEASE DATE: MAY 26
Directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Directed by F. Gary Gray, The Fate Of The Furious, aka Fast 8 and Fast & Furious 8, is the eighth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. Vin Diesel returns along with Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, and Kurt Russell. The crew welcomes Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron, and Helen Mirren as new addition to the cast.
